6 week update

Today Ethan is 6 weeks old!! hard to believe it's been 6 weeks already! He had a regular scheduled doctors appointment last week. He weighs in at 9lbs 11oz and is 23 inches long. Our little piggy has been packing on the pounds lately. :) He's in only the 35th percentile for overall weight, but the doctor said he started a little low, so it's ok. He's in the 75th percentile for height, so he's going to be tall, and he's in the 95th percentile for head circumference. So he's got a big brain. :) He's in 3 month clothes now, so he's definitely getting big. Here's the latest photos..

Week 4

Sorry for the delay in posts, busy weeks and weekends. Ethan is doing great. He's got his up and down days.. some day's he sleeps like a baby, other days he's fussy and refuses to sleep. Nothing exciting to report, just normal New Born activity. Eat, Fuss, Sleep, Pee, Poop.. repeat cycle again.. :) you can start to tell that he's growing more. Also we're noticing that his Newborn clothes are starting to get very tight. Starting to put him in 3 month clothes. This weekend we're taking Ethan to Lake Mary to visit Grandpa Bill. Hopefully he'll snooze on the car ride over.

Here's a shot of the dogs and how they've adapted. Ruby still wanting to be near mom and Noah hanging out on the other couch at the top of the picture. The dogs have been surprisingly very good these last few weeks. Noah has his usual annoying times, and did manage to sneak in a nice big dog lick on Ethan the other day.

Week 2

Ethan started his 2nd week of life this week. The only real excitement of the week came on Tuesday when his cord stump fell off, exposing his belly button. But he had to go to the Doctors today cause it wasn't closing 100%, so they took care of it. He's not really sleeping that much during the day. Lisa can't get a good nap in. Night time, he's sleeping ok, a little restless (I think cause everybody's been holding him constantly, he's gotten used to the arms) but he's sleeping 3-4 hours at a time then wakes up to change diaper and feed. Nothing out of the ordinary for a newborn.
